Unemployment is the major problem of our country. Each year thousands of students complete their graduation but are forced to be unemployed. Though the students pass their graduation with extra ordinary marks only few of them get the employment opportunities with regard to the recommendations of some one high ones. In this situation most of the youths are encouraged towards the foreign land, may it be Australia, UK, Canada or even Qatar or Doha. Most of the students today don’t talk being a Doctor, Engineer or even a manager and serve the country but instead they plan for the aboard study and how to settle over there. Since the time immemorial unemployment has been the major problem of our country, Nepal. The government has never been able to address this burning problem of the country. As said earlier half of the students fly aboard to secure their future and why wont they? What the government has done for them? Besides, these students, most of them engage themselves in Politics. And the example can be seen, when the students are seen burning tyres on the occasion of Nepal Bandh or any bandhs. What is happening? The future pillars of development are seen burning tyres on the streets. If it is the scenario then what will happen to our country? Politics itself is not to be blamed. But no doubt that Politics has had a very bad impact on today’s generation. The government does not provide them with the employment opportunities so what they are suppose to do beyond it. And the students are also irresponsible in their own. Instead of blaming Government, we can start small business of our own with respect to our interest and study. We can even try for some internships and volunteers program. But why would be do? We feel shy to do small things. This attitude has a very bad impact on the future of students and their attitude should also be changed. Unemployment is something which should be seriously handled by the youth themselves and of course the government. The both parties should move side by side in this, work on it and then only the unemployment problem can be solved. This is what we think. Please let us know what you think about this in this time’s “Let’s talk about it” segment.
