I am the youngest daughter of Khem Raj Kharel and Laxmi Kharel. I have my two elder sisters and two elder brothers. I was pampered a lot as being younger. I was born on 5th of Kartik. I am originally from Bhadrapur - Jhapa. I did my schooling from Bhadrapur secondary school. I was fascinated toward music from my childhood but I couldn’t get chance to explore during those time. Indeed, my family members were always very supporting.

 

I came to Kathmandu in 2059 BS. I did my B. Music from Indira Sangeet Vidyaalaya. My musical journey formally started after participating in first Nepali Tara. It was in 2062. I didn’t win the title but I went up to top ten. After Nepali Tara, I got a notice from everyone. I began to get offer from different collection albums. i than, came up with my first solo album ‘Dil’ which makes me recognized more in the Nepali music fraternity.

 

Right now, I am busy with my musical career. But definitely, I have to get married one day. I prefer love marriage and settle it in arranged way. I want my life partner to be out of this musical sorority but let’s see who know the future (hehe). Anyway, I wish my life partner to understand my field and let me explore more with my own talent.

 

Truly speaking, it’s really difficult to survive economically in this field but still I’m managing as far as I can. I am very conscious about saving for future. My expenditure is very limited though most of the time I do shopping. Currently, I am doing different collection albums and Nepali movie songs. I am also planning for the new solo album.
