About the video in the directors own words:-
Since the song has been derived from a local tune of the Khumbu region, the music video required substantial ‘himali’ flavor to it. The video was shot in Mude Khari Dhunga where there was a lot of snow. The video hasn’t come out as well as I has initially thought it would because we didn’t have enough time. We shot the video on Shivaratri last year and there were numerous logistical difficulties on the way. There were kids and people asking for money and donations at every kilometer mark; stopping the bus with ropes and what have you’s. It was a five hour drive but it took us almost nine hours. Well coming to the main topic, the story is about a group of friends on a trekking trip. The singer, our main hero, sees a girl while enjoying the panoramic view with his binocular and eventually meets her on the way; forgetting his friends in the process. It was a two day shoot but difficult to work because of the heavy snowfall. Roj Moktan would slip and fall down regularly on the snow and it was difficult to take the shots. But everyone enjoyed the entire shoot in spite of all the hassles and the weather! |
