About the music video in the director’s own words:
The concept of the music video of ‘Nabijhaune Phool’ is very simple with not much of a storyline to it with simple shots and angles. It has a little bit of suspense towards the end though. Actually, we had to compromise on a lot of things because the whole project involved very little budget. We had to make do with cutting down expenses on numerous logistics including the technical aspects. I only wish I was given better leverage as far as the finances were concerned. To add to our financial problems, it rained on our scheduled day of shoot and we had to postpone it for the next day. Initially, even I was a little apprehensive about the video, but I am glad that Sudeep and all those who watched it, were pretty pleased with the outcome. Sudeep, being the thorough professional that he is, was cooperative as ever. I am learning and since it is my interest, I intend to carry on making more videos. This one is my seventh project overall, the last four being videos of my own and I have done another two for others. It was a great experience doing this particular one and moreover, it’s always nice if your work gets appreciated. I have been getting rather positive response from all the ones that I have done, more so for this particular one. So, I am not complaining. |
