About the music video in the director’s own words:
Basically, the music video has a very simple concept. I have tried to blend the nostalgic theme to go along with the lyrics of the song. The duration of the shoot lasted for just five hours and Raju was as co-operative as ever. I have tried to portray the song in a very soothing manner which I feel I have succeeded in presenting it in the sense that it is very pleasant to the eyes. In the beginning, I was rather apprehensive about the concept of shooting it in just two rooms; the location we chose was the suite of Tibet Guest House, Thamel. But as we progressed, I kind of took it up as a challenge and I am happy to state that I am quite pleased with the outcome. However, the most challenging aspect of ‘Kasam’ was to get the right color tone while editing. It probably took me four days of continuously working on it before I could finally get it right. I take this opportunity to thank my editor, Himal Joshi who has done a great job as is evident from the music video. |
